TEMA:

Jesus, sent by the Father.

• Objetivo :

To thank God who sent his Son so that the world may be saved through him.

•  Environment:

Place on the notice board the 4th Commandment of the missionary child:

A MISSIONARY CHILD ALWAYS SAYS: THANK YOU!

• 1- Greeting

Dear children: Jesus is the greatest expression of love that God the Father has for us. Therefore, we should never be sad or discouraged; Jesus is always with us.

• 2- Revision of commitment.

How many cards have you given away with the message of the Holy Spirit?

Did you give thanks every day for the gifts received?

• 3- Prayer.

Let us pray with a well known hymn: I will praise,  I will praise,  I will praise my Lord. (2)

All together, happily we sing, glory and praise to the Lord: glory to the Father, glory to the Son, glory to the Spirit of Love.

• 4- Activity.

Each child is given the following crossword puzzle. Towards the end, we will all check to know the words that we find there.

Let us listen now to the Word of God in John 3, 16-18.

Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not be lost but may have eternal life. For God sent his Son into the world not to condemn the world, but so that through him the world might be saved. No one who believes in him will be condemned; but whoever refuses to believe is condemned already, because he has refused to believe in the name of God's only Son.

Why did God give his only begotten Son to the world?

Why did God send His Son?

Who is to be condemned?

• 7- Enlightenment

Today's message is very clear. He who wants to be saved must believe in the only Son of God, Jesus Christ. Many people live ignoring Jesus and that is why, we who believe in him, should communicate to them  the saving message of Jesus. We cannot sleep nor give in to laziness which makes us look for commodity. If we love Jesus, we have to announce him and always thank God the Father for the gift of faith, because we are very fortunate to be able to believe in him.

• 8- Celebration

We can sing or recite the hymn that says:

Thanks, Father, for having given us what You most love. (2)

Thanks, Father, because your Son came to earth to talk to us about You.

• 9- Commitment.

-Draw on a sheet of paper or cardboard the figure of the Virgin Mary and write the following or something like this:

-THANKS, MARY, BECAUSE YOU KNEW HOW TO SAY YES TO GOD THE FATHER.

 -Pray every night for those who don't know Jesus and so that his message may extend throughout the world.
